the one with NYE

On the eve of 2012, we ate dinner with my parents and Mimi at a nice Italian restaurant.  We enjoyed discussing the highlights of 2011 and plans for 2012.  Conversation centered on travel and food, of course.  We planned to meet our friends and hop to a few house parties, but Brian started feeling bad during dinner.  By the time we got home, he had a fever.  So we popped in Water for Elephants and Brian took cold meds.  I thought the movie was pretty good - not as good as the book, but entertaining! We flipped to the ball drop right before midnight and then went to bed!  Maybe next year we'll do something more blog-worthy!
