the one with 30 Before 30: December update


Three months down, fifteen months to go and I got to cross one thing off.   Here's the December update on my 30 Before 30 list!
  1. Finish my wedding scrapbook.  Planning to get busy in January!

  2. Learn to bake bread from scratch.

  3. Make digital photo albums for our honeymoon and recent trips.

  4. Develop a recipe arsenal with good go-to meals.  

  5. Re-decorate our bedroom.  The furniture we want is on sale at Pottery Barn!!  SO excited to place the order ASAP!! 

  6. Invest in the stock market.    

  7. Move somewhere besides a one-bedroom apartment.

  8. Join a Bible study.  Our friends are doing one in the Spring that we plan to join.

  9. Take a class on how to use my digital camera.  

  10. Blog twice a week, including updates on my list.  December was tough, but overall I think I'm doing okay.

  11. Plan a 30th birthday trip with friends!

  12. See Garth Brooks live in Vegas. We bought tickets for April 21st!  Wanna come with?

  13. Go to a drive-in movie.

  14. Join the Junior League.  All set!  The provisional year starts in May.

  15. Complete a 30-day yoga challenge.

  16. Read the entire Bible again.  Done with Exodus...adopting a better reading plan in January. 

  17. Run a 10-k (or at least a 5-k).  Decided to wait for a slightly warmer race, but I am working on a training plan.  

  18. Visit Virginia.  

  19. Take family photos with Latte.

  20. Get my wedding dress cleaned and stored.

  21. Visit the Blue Bell Factory.

  22. Go to the Dallas Farmer's Market.

  23. Make a blog book from my first blog.

  24. Sail the open seas (or a lake will do).

  25. Eat at Austin's food trailers.

  26. See Willie Nelson live. 

  27. Have a picture of Latte turned into art.

  28. Touch my toes. 

  29. Read the other Jane Austen novels.  Finished Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey! Four to go.

  30. Master the art of homemade tortillas.

30 Before 30 honorable mention goals:
  1. Take a Segway tour somewhere
  2. Learn how to use a knife to chop things properly (and quickly).  
  3. Pay off Brian's school loans.  We've got a plan to do that this year.
