The Hunt (or the FFF Christmas Tree 08)

On Thursday night, we finally had time to go find our Christmas tree! We decided getting a real one would be a fun way to celebrate our first official Christmas together. We had planned to go to a tree lot, but ended up at Lowe's because we had to go pretty late at night.
But what to get? Frasier? Douglas? Noble? I had to sniff them all for the best smell. In the end, we went with a Noble Fir because we think it has the prettiest fullest branches and a good smell.
It was nice having a tall husband who can lift, sort, and spin christmas trees with ease. I just had to stand back and compare.
This is the one! Our 6-7 foot Noble Fir with a (semi) strait trunk, full branches and lovely can't-put-it-in-a-candle Christmas tree smell!! We stuffed it in the back of Brian's 4Runner, along with a brand new stand, skirt, lights and ornaments. (Please ignore my tired face - I had a long day at work).
I somehow forgot to take pictures of the decorating process (and the hours of trying to fix our leaning problem). I need to fix that dark spot on the lower left - Brian was in charge of lights and must have skipped that branch - although to be fair, I was in charge of quality control and I missed it too. But isn't it beautiful?
